The company announces new leaderships in Quality Department
The company has completed a reorganization into six departments to enhance the responsible management system, signaling the full implementation of growth strategies.
SK bioscience, a global innovative vaccine and biotech company committed to promoting human health from prevention to cure, announced today the appointment of new leaders boasting over 20 years of experience in quality management.
Hyun-cheol (James) Kim, appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Quality Department, brings 28 years of expertise in quality and manufacturing management. He worked at LG Chem and Hankook Pharmaceuticals. He majored in Chemistry at Hanyang University and earned a master´s degree in biomedical science management convergence from Chungbuk National University. Mr. Kim will oversee the Quality Excellence (QE) Office, Quality Control (QC) Office, and Quality Assurance (QA) Office.
In December 2023, SK bioscience restructured its organization into six departments, including Business Development, Bio R&D Department, Development Department, Manufacturing Department (L HOUSE), Quality Department, and Corporate Planning Department. This reorganization aims to facilitate specialized functions systemically and accelerate its growth strategy.

In addition, SK bioscience announced the appointment of Jae-ha Park as Vice President and Head of Quality Assurance Office. Mr. Park worked as Senior Manager of the Global Quality Organization at Janssen following Janssen Vaccines. He also served as the Head of Quality Unit at STgen Bio Co. He holds bachelor´s and master´s degrees in mechanical engineering from Hanyang University.
Mr. Park will play a pivotal role in enhancing the management system from raw material warehousing to vaccine shipment, as well as establishing and operating GMP Governance to maintain high product quality.
